[Beautifulcanoe] Cake Party!

Hello Everyone,

Yes, I know its is sad as we come to the end of the internship and so, to end on a high note, it is becoming a tradition to have a ‘Cake Party’ at the end of the internship.

What’s a Cake Party?  Well its something we made up on the spur of the moment a few years ago - it was at the end of the second internship programme and that cohort wanted to celebrate their achievements by eating cake together, and the concept of ‘Cake Party’ was created.   There are a couple ‘rules’:  firstly, if possible, the cake would be home made, and secondly, the cake that you bring along represents your experience of the internship over the ten weeks - so its a bit like the one word check-out that we do at the end of the coaching, except that its for the whole internship, and you express yourself through the medium of cake - an opportunity to get creative!

So the plan for Friday:

Get all your worked wrapped-up by 1:00pm
Suggest you grab yourself some lunch 1-2pm

We gather at 2:00pm 

2:00-3:00ish - Fairly formal Retrospective - look back over the whole internship and harvest our learning.
3:00- 4:00ish - Cake party (cake-retrospective)- sharing cakes, stories and why you brought your particular cake.  Please also bring along soft drinks,  (paper) plates, and a few knives for cutting the cakes.
4:00ish - say our goodbyes and be on our way!
